I’m Merichel. I use creativity to remind myself and you of the power that lives within me and you. I do not have a niche or an art style. I use mixed-media play, meaning I dabble with different art mediums, including collage, painting, drawing, soft sculpture, writing—you name it! 

My intention when creating is from a space of ‘what is alive in my heart right now’. 

I wish my story were more unique although it’s a bit cliche. I found my calling for creativity through trauma healing. Something I didn’t expect yet seen so much liberation and wholeness when using art as the medicine for my pain. 

This is something I want to share and give to those who are open to it. I do this through Create & Connect, a space that allows you to create for the sake of creating as you connect with yourself or others.
