'To My Inner Child'

'To My Inner Child'

A visualisation of my adult self handing the light that I have discovered from within to my Inner Child. Who suffered from many traumas. The purple and blue figure behind her is anxiety (purple) and depression (blue).

Medium and Method: Water Colour Painting on a water colouring pad.

Blooming After Re-Birth

Blooming After Re-Birth

This concept came to mind during experiencing the Dark Night of the Soul. During those experiences, I couldn’t put into words of the epiphanies and vulnerability I was exuding. Something I never experienced before. Instead of words, I use art to express what was going on within. This is what came about it. -

This the second version. The first original is a watercolour painting.

Medium and Method: Arcylic Painting on canvas.

The Sun and The Moon

The Sun and The Moon

In astrology, the Sun represents our consciousness; (the ego, our likes and dislikes, interest, self -expression). The part of our psyche that we can easily access. The Moon represents the opposite, our subconscious. Where many things are hidden such as our emotions and deep desires. It's hidden as the Moon only has a certain amount of light that hides the full truth. Unlike the Sun that reveals and shines all that it's exposed to it.

Sometimes we feed our self the illusion and lies because it is more comfortable and we can try and put the blame on the other person. Although we already knew the answers within our intuition and subconscious, we were just not ready to reveal those to our consciousness. Because like I said sometimes truths hurt and living under illusions are much more comforting. //

‘INNER HIGH PRIESTESS’

‘INNER HIGH PRIESTESS’

The nakedness of her body represents the vulnerability of being open toward her emotions and being her true authentic self. // The scroll in her hands contains the inner knowledge, wisdom and epiphanies she has collected through her lifetime. Whereas her crown represents her own cycles being in tune with the moon cycles.

I wanted to capture and create a piece where it captured my vulnerability and embracing of my own intuition. This is my favourite art piece so far! Sometimes there is just no word to describe we are feeling, although we can always express it through art and other creative endeavours.

SHOWERING UNDER MOTHER NATURE

SHOWERING UNDER MOTHER NATURE

What I am craving right now during lockdown is the spontaneous visit to beaches and gardens in Melbourne. - On the other hand, grounding myself in gratitude with what I do have and can do. I know this situation is not permanent and it will pass.

.

One thing Covid has taught us how little control we have over our lives. That anything can happen unexpectedly without us even seeing it coming. Not all them we’ll be please with when it occurs although as time pass we will eventually see the blessing underneath them.

Illuminating Connection

Illuminating Connection

“Some connection we form is much more that psychical attraction. There is this sense of yearning from our soul which then triggers our intuition to go follow through. -Sometimes that connection can not be explained through words, it’s just a feeling both people feel. That no words needs to exchanged. That they both are aligned with one another’s energy. They both know they are not from this Earthly world. That they were born in the stars and came here to shine so bright together.”

Ascending With My Shadow

Ascending With My Shadow

When thinking of ascending my shadow, I was lost with what tools and strategies I used. It’s like my brain was trying to make it more complicated that it had to be.

When pulling away from all the overthinking, it was FECK (Forgiveness, Empathy, Compassion and Kindness) that were the best tools cultivated.

Our shadow is the part of our self that was rejected, judged, shame or hated on, not just by others but our self too. Not all our shadows are wicked and evil, it’s actually far from that.

Our shadow is where our inner child is hiding (from what I’ve experienced), it’s where our desires and dreams are in, it’s where our ‘toxic’ habits are rooted in, it’s where the triggers and projections are in.

Our shadow is in our subconscious. It’s scary and challenging having to face our self from a place of honesty. Not just the light that lives within us but also the shadow aspect; the times where we projected our pain, ran away from people who had pure intention, where we judged, shame and rejected parts of our self because we were taught that it’s the ‘right thing’ to do, in order to be loved, accepted or successful.

Our shadow is a part of our being, its a journey to accept our shadow and this part of our self. A journey that is well rewarded, a journey that is going to require us to be compassionate, kind, empathic and provide forgive to our self. 🤍
