An original acrylic painting inspired by my journey around Shadow Work (ie. bringing awareness to our unconscious programming).

We all have light and shadow aspects within us.

What makes them light is simply our willingness to bring it to our awareness and shine our light on it. Whereas our shadow, it’s something we are hesitant to show others. It’s the parts of ourselves we’ve been taught to hate and reject.

The thing is both of these spectrums make us who we are. They both hold valuable reasons for why they exist within us.

This painting can be interpreted in many ways. Either way, it’s representing both duality and the spectrum that lives within us.
