Inspired by the depth we can meet ourselves when we surrender to what is being shown with our expressions and emotions of the Unknown.

This painting was created during the process of a heart chakra awakening. It was something I didn’t expect to come through, especially from a one-day workshop. The truth is many of us are so uncomfortable and afraid of the Unknown. To sit with the idea that we might not know nor did we ever have control over our life. There are spaces and moments, where we get to choose how to move, which direction to turn, and what to say or what not to say.

Pretty much, it’s the space of surrendering and de-attaching from something bigger rather than ourselves, as we root ourselves in the power by focusing on what we control.
