The concept of Twin Flame is something I resonated with in the beginning stages of my spiritual awakening, although clocked out as soon as I kept seeing concepts like:

"You're half a soul"

"You need your person to manifest or co-create with the Divine"

And when others were encouraging folks to stay in dysfunctional and abusive relationships & using the concept of 'twin flame' to justify the behaviours.

This piece is inspired by the concept of twin flames all about the transformation and purification of one soul. When we come across someone who is a mirror of our being, not just the light but the shadow as well, it's one that's absolutely soul-crushing in ways that put us in positions of triggerings, inspirations, ego deaths and awakenings from our inner world.

It's not always glamorous or just love and light.

The purification of our being from solid matter to ashes is one that is not always comfortable.
The twin flame journey is one that tests us in meeting ourselves over and over again.
It's one that cracks us open to the point we're willing to surrender to all the things we can't and never had control over.

Being open to letting go of control of unions and outcomes.
Not all twins come together as partnerships in this lifetime.

Some twins turn from soulmates to karmic.
Karmic to soulmates.
Depending on the individual soul's evolution,
As we are a whole soul as we are.
