We grow up believing the idea that “Karma is a bitch” when in reality, we just have a lack of knowledge on what it is. Ironically enough that’s how we are as humans we have been programmed to judge, shame or hate people or things we do not understand. We tend to project our own lack of understanding for ourselves towards others around us.
It’s not that we don’t know who we are, it’s just we have fragments of ourself that we are not consciously aware of. This isn’t always a bad thing because if we knew everything then there is no room to learn and we’d anticipation our journey towards the Unknown, self-awareness and enlightenment; and where is the magic in that?
Karma is simply lessons that are embedded within our experiences and circumstances that assist in elevating our self-awareness and ascends the mind, body and soul. To understand what Karma is, it’s having to change our perception on what we thought it was. When viewing Karma we have to view it from the perspective of energy, vibrations and frequency. The famous Nikola Tesla knew this and planted the seed for the evolution of this concept. -
All our actions, emotions, thoughts and behaviours have energy attached to it. Each energy vibrates in a certain frequency, some in low and some in high. - The higher frequencies are love, acceptance, optimism, joy and the lower frequencies are shame, hatred, anger, guilt. When we are operating from a lower frequency we are easily manipulated, controlled and sway out of our power. We can also view the states of frequencies as our state of consciousness. We have a higher state of consciousness and a lower state of consciousness.
The end goal for each of our Karmic cycles is to evolve our consciousness and self-awareness not just about our inner world but also our external world. All living things on Earth go through cycles; for us, we go through many simultaneously. While we are a ticking time bomb and each day we wake up closer to our death, we are also in a cycle of constant rebirth and transformation. We are all given an opportunity to learn and unlearn habits, behaviours, conditioning or programming that will ascend the mind, body and soul. We are also given the free will to either take these opportunities or ignore them.
Sometimes our soul requires us to go on the same cycles with different faces or environment in order to learn a specific lesson. For that we can not be harsh or judge ourselves, it’s having to change our perception and taking the lessons within all our experiences or circumstances rather than the hurt, hate or judgement. We all have our own cycles and timeline, no person in the world will have the same. We might have some similarity although never the same. It’s about removing the concept that we have to be competing with one another and that those around us is our competition when in reality, they are not.
With Karma it isn’t necessarily the actions or behaviours that come back to us, it’s the energy vibrations attached to those actions and behaviours and how we made someone feel. For example: if we are going out and judging someone for the way they look that energy vibration of shame and hatred is what we put out to the universe/world. With Karma that energy vibrations will come back to the sender, it might not be in the same form although it will have the same energy vibrational attached to it.
Karma is not always lower vibrational, it is also high vibrational. When we pour love to our world either internally or externally that same energy vibrations will come back to us. Like I’ve stated Karma is simply lesson that assist us in becoming self-aware of not just ourself but how the Universe works.
This isn’t to say that any type of abuse that occurred to us is justified, because abuse is never okay. The world/3D laws are different from Universal laws. I think the way our psyche is constructed within the human Ego, it created this veil that hides away from seeing it in a much higher perspective. With this concept, we have to understand that there are other energy forces that aren’t for the evolution of the human race. Rather they’d want us to be in the lower state of consciousness such as anger, guilt or shame so we can be easily controlled and manipulated.
Having to break out of these invisible cages of illusions, lies, corruptions and manipulations has to occur within us first. We have been conditioned and programmed from society to go on a certain route in life or be a certain way to be accepted or be ‘successful’.
The illusions, lies, corruptions and manipulations are not always from social conditionings sometimes, they're from our personal experiences. Where our experiences have shaped us to hide, repressed, our true authentic self to be accepted or loved by those around us. Where we made ourselves small and dimmed our light for those who were uncomfortable with our size. Healing these aspects of ourselves so we can shine and stand tall in our own power, without feeling guilt or shame for being who we are is part of the process.
We have to heal a certain level of ourselves before we can look at it from a higher perspective. We came here to live out ‘human experiences’ from that comes with emotions, circumstances, upbringing and all aspects we are feeling and dealing with. At the moment we feel as we are not going to survive although, we are. Truly, this life-time is so short and temporary. When we move on to the next lifetime or reconstruct our ‘soul contract’ we will see and it’ll all make sense. Although for now, it’s about staying in the present and letting go of the past and the expectation of the future.
The reason people can’t stay in the present is that they’re holding onto the past. It’s not to say that the past is easy to let go of. It’s just this is where healing comes in and the inner work. Nobody said the path to self-awareness and enlightenment is easy. This is why sometimes it takes a few lifetimes to reach a level of self-awareness for our soul. Karma is here to help us to gain self-awareness. Karma is not an enemy, we only make it an enemy if we are fighting with ourselves.
Don’t fight our own cycles, instead become familiar with them. We do this by taking accountability and being honest with ourselves. Having to remove and let go of our own illusions, conditioning and expectations we've attached to ourselves and those around us, it’s not always easy. Just because we do not say the conditions or expectations to those around us does not mean the Universe, the Divine, God, The Creator (whichever label resonates with you) doesn't hear them.
That is why we have to learn how to be honest and take accountability for ourselves and from that, we can learn from our own Karma and what we have energetically put out into the world.
Healing and learning about our own Karmic cycles has its own cycle. It’s something not to rush into and no amount of judging, hating or shaming ourselves for our past will heal us. The best thing we can do is to let go of all the things we can not control such as people, events and external circumstances.
The only way to heal and let go is to be compassionate, empathetic, kind and forgiving to ourselves and those who were on our path.
Our past is something we shouldn't use to punish ourselves rather unpack it, and find the lessons within our circumstances and experiences. Our past is the building blocks to where we are today and with the lessons, knowledge and wisdom we have attained, we need to use them to end the cycle of 'hurt people, hurt people'. Where we'd show compassion and empathy to those who weren't able to give us those and instead of projecting our pain, ignorance and judgment, we'd project compassion, empathy and love, because, underneath all judgement, shame or hatred is an inner child screaming to be loved and accepted. -
When we decide to end behaviours or habits that contradict with our soul, we begin to awaken to our authenticity and a path to self-awareness. So, welcome Karma in our life and let it teach us, as it’s the lessons we need to evolve, gain self-awareness and free us from the mental prison we have caged ourself in.
