Religion holds such a huge power over our society in every inch of the world. It also has a great power of separating and bringing people together. Everyone will and has an opinion about what religion means to them. Good or bad everyone is entitled to their own opinions because opinions aren't always facts.
Each of the religions we have been exposed to whether from the way the mainstream media, Hollywood or our upbringing have portrayed certain religious intuitions. They have created and conditioned the way of us relating to faith and the higher power, whether it's positive or negative.
There was always been hypocrisy that religious institutions stand for. In one hand, it brought communities together and formed groups into families. And on the other hand, it's used as a tool to control and make others comply with abuse. -- This isn't even an opinion, it's facts. There has been plenty of cases of hidden abuse happening under religious institutions. Most cases aren't even reported. I don't agree with an institution that covers up and bury's abuse. Also the number of years and people that worked for these institutions to cover up evil acts, that were made by people who swore to be influenced by God. This is a prime example of how people misuse their power and use religion to control and manipulate the mass.
That was the fundamental structure of religious institutions. Oppressing certain groups of people to creating separation from one another. Religion has been used as a tool to fight one another and focus on our differences instead of highlighting what makes us the same. Which are the emotions, experiences and life we all have and feel no matter what our ingredients are? That each and one of us living on Earth are valid to create a life we want and desire. Religious institutions have oppressed groups like the LGBTQ community creating the sense that God didn't create them as well. That God would disown his children because they simply were attracted to the same sex. God would never disown us, abandoning one's self is a form of disowning. He gave us a free will to create and embody ourselves the way we want to. Self-love is the highest form of connection with God/Divine/Creator.
Every single person who committed these abuse, as well as the people who help them cover it up, are cowards and works from the devil energy. Using religion to make abuse compliant is so messed up. It robs the victims and survivors of their faith and voice. It takes away the blame from the offenders where it belongs. Creating this shame and guilt around faith and dedication to the high power. Also creating barriers and challenges for the victims and survivors to be able to handle life. Institutions that promote and hides abuse isn't an institution that should be in our future. There is a huge cover-up, not just under the churches institutions but other high power workplaces.
Any faith that promotes exclusion and discrimination is not a faith that should be promoted or seen in the future. We've seen from past events where hatred, discrimination and exclusion lead to. Creating hatred is something that isn't needed, especially in the context of faith. Each of the religions visions, are to spread light and love but contradicts it's by creating hatred and separation.
Religious institution has created a facade of this concept of 'the chosen one'. When in reality, no one is special. Each and one of us bring forth our ingredients making a cup of our own moulded faith, base on our values and beliefs. Which should be the foundation of love, forgiveness, compassion, empathy and kindness.
Karma is real. It is simply a lesson of what we have put out onto the Universe. There are different types of laws operating. There are white men laws, that were embedded and we follow. And the Universal Laws that runs whether we are aware of it or not.
I don't think religion is a complete lie. Although the stories have been twisted and skewed throughout the years. I find it fascinating that the religion of Islam that has been bashed and demonized believes that our souls live after our death on Earth. That our soul travels to the Angel of Death to wait for Judgment Day. Similar to the Ancient Egyptians depiction of the afterlife and the God Osiris deciding the faith of the individual on Judgement day. Whether their heart was the same weight as the feather.
When I was younger I grew up through a religious upbringing and I prayed frequently. I was taught that if I didn't behave I'd go to Hell. That to get into Heaven I'd needed to be a 'good girl'. For a long time, I had that belief. -- Only coming to the term that no God or a Creator or The Divine, (however, we want to name and label the higher power) would just accept the good within us. The good and chaos are all around us. God has given us a consciousness to make decisions with our FREE WILL. That's our job to decide what we are going to do with our own time here on Earth and the free will given to us. The good isn't all that we have, we also come with the shadow aspects. Our Creator knows this. We come with the shadow and the good. -- Coming to terms with this is important to accept yourself as a whole. Only coming with the good parts of your life isn't wholesome, the Creator knows this.
The idea of creating Heaven right here on Earth is something some won’t be able to comprehend. Many forget that we have different definitions of what Heaven looks like for each individual. - We are all on this journey together but on our path. We are walking with one another and if we happen to merge in one another's lane be kind and show empathy. Being religious or spiritual is not a one day a week commitment. It is being able to preach and embed the practices from our beliefs within our everyday lives.
We have been conditioned in thinking that the next destination is where the pot of gold is. Just like we have to die before reaching Heaven. We work like dogs for a job that we are not passionate about and leaving as burned out and too exhausted to spend time with our love ones and cater to our emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. Is this freedom to you?
We are at the age where we are able to get access to ANY information just from a few taps on our devices. Education ourselves have never been so easy. We have the free will to inform ourselves and decipher the information we are receiving. Because the harsh reality is that most people in power do not have our best interest.
With the chaos that is happening around us right now. Having faith is something we need to do at this time. The faith that this too will pass and the tower moments that are occurring in our society is a way of reconstructing our way living that is clearly not working any longer. That term 'the veil is lifting' is literally happening. We are in prime time and witnessing it.
We have the free will to choose how we live this life. That comes with the information and content we take in. Make sure it feeds ALL parts of ourselves. The Body, Mind and Soul.
